Athletics Bay of Islands is a newly affiliated club dedicated to fostering a love for athletics within the community. The season begins in the first week of October 2025 and runs for 16 weeks with a break at Christmas, offering a fun and inclusive environment for young athletes to develop their skills.
The Run Jump Throw (RJT) program is available for tamariki aged 5-11 years, focusing on fundamental movement skills through engaging activities. The club is also expanding to include coaching opportunities for rangatahi, supporting older athletes in advancing their abilities and exploring their potential. Run out of Springbank School.
Athletics Bream is a newly established affiliated athletics club based at Bream Bay College, offering opportunities for athletes of all ages and abilities. The club provides the "Run Jump Throw" (RJT) program for children under 11 years old, fostering fundamental movement skills in a fun and engaging way. For those aged 12 and older, specialized coaching is available from an accredited coach to help develop athletic techniques and performance. Sessions are held on Mondays on the college's grass track.
Athletics Kaitaia is a community-focused athletics program run through Kaitaia College with the support of dedicated local parents. While it is not currently an affiliated club, Athletics Kaitaia provides a welcoming environment for children to participate in track and field activities, develop their skills, and enjoy the sport.
Athletics Whangarei is a welcoming Running and Track & Field club with access to a state-of-the-art all-weather track. Catering to all age groups and abilities, the club offers outstanding training opportunities for both kids and senior athletes.

Kaiwaka Athletics Club, part of the Kaiwaka Sports Association, offers a vibrant environment for young athletes. Sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at Otamatea High School. The club emphasizes community involvement, requiring parents to stay and assist during sessions. Participants can also take part in ribbon days, which provide opportunities for young athletes to compete and connect with other clubs.
